The Chipmunks Program serves children between the ages of 18 months to 3 years in a caring, rhythmical environment.

With three experienced and loving care-givers, the children can begin to test their new sense of self, in an environment designed to nurture and support their continued unfolding unfolding by encouraging gross motor development as well as learning social and emotional skills with new friends.

Morning program: 9am to 12pm

Afternoon program: 12pm to 2:45pm

Three- or four-day options, Monday through Thursday.

Aftercare is available until 4pm Monday through Thursday.

Grey Squirrels

The Grey Squirrels is a mixed age class for children 3.5 to 5 years old. This program is an extension of the family experience, and the mixed ages of the children add to this experience. The older children are the helpers of the younger children and they all bake bread together, make soup together, explore the world of nature, and learn how to negotiate social interactions as they play together.

Morning Program: 9am to 12:30pm

Afternoon Program: 12:30pm to 3pm

Mondays through Fridays with four- or five-day options.

Aftercare is available until 6pm Monday through Thursday.

Red Foxes

RFBoatJourney_Dec20 website.jpeg

The Red Fox Forest Kindergarten is for children ranging in age from 3.5 to 6 years old. With a home in a lean-to in the woods, they are free to climb, build, and explore. They have an outdoor classroom to return to for warmth, crafting, and eating. Led by two Waldorf-trained teachers who started a similar program at the Waldorf School of Saratoga Springs, the Red Foxes not only find adventure and reverence in the outdoors, they also take part in circle songs and verses and storytelling as pre-literacy for  their elementary years.

Morning Program: 9:30am to 1pm

Afternoon Program: 1pm to 3:30 pm

Mondays through Fridays with four- or five-day options.

Aftercare is available until 5:30pm Monday through Thursday.
